Does FR Mobile X offer unlimited data plans?

Yes, all of our plans offered in Canada are unlimited unless otherwise specified. Our Unlimited plans provide unlimited data usage, but please note that your speeds may be slowed once you reach your plan's data allowance. For example, if your plan offers 20GB of data at 5G speeds, your speeds will be reduced once you surpass 20GB. However, you can continue to use unlimited data without concerns about data limits or overages.

Do you offer international roaming?

To avoid unexpected charges, we block international roaming by default. If you require roaming while traveling, you can purchase one of our travel plans for a set price over a designated period. Alternatively, you can contact customer service to activate international roaming, but please be aware that you will be responsible for any charges incurred. International roaming fees are based on the tower used, not the geographical location. For example, if you roam to a U.S. tower while in Canada, you will be billed for usage. Please ensure you fully understand the potential charges before enabling international roaming or incurring overages.

How do I get my eSIM?

What will data usage speeds be like after I exceed my high-speed threshold?

Once you reach the 5G speed threshold of your plan, we will reduce your speeds for the remainder of your billing cycle to a maximum of 512 Kbps. You will still be able to browse the internet and use email, but video quality may be reduced and other high-bandwidth applications may take longer to load.

How does billing work?

You will be billed in advance for the upcoming month of service. Your payment details will be securely stored on our system for future billing. You will receive a notification 7 days before your billing date. If payment is unsuccessful, you will have 24 hours to resolve the issue, after which your account may be suspended until payment is received. Reactivation can take up to 24 hours on business days. If you cancel mid-month, you will still be responsible for the remainder of the monthly service fee, as we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Additional fees may apply.

How do I cancel my service?

Cancelling your service is straightforward and can be done without the need to contact anyone. As you are on a no-contract plan, simply log into your account on our website and navigate to the "Manage Subscriptions" section. From there, you can cancel or modify any subscription as needed. To avoid being charged for the upcoming month, please ensure you cancel before your next billing date. Please note, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
